At LCC, we view sports as another tool to help develop the whole person.   Through a student’s participation in interscholastic sports, it is hoped that the student will further develop spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically, and socially.

The emphasis of our program is based on dedication, desire and effort, rather than just winning.   Our programs are designed to teach students the importance of teamwork, discipline, resilience, sportsmanship and grace under pressure.

The real strength of our athletic program comes from believing that “giving one’s best effort” is the foundation for success, not only in athletics, but also in all aspects of life.

Panther teams

LCC Day School currently offers seven sports to students in grades 5 through 8.   Typically, grades 5 & 6 make up our JV team and grades 7 & 8 our varsity team.   Our fall sports include girls volleyball, coed soccer, tennis and golf.   Winter sports are boys basketball, girls basketball, and pep squad. In the spring we offer track and spring tennis.
