Her Legacy

The Holly Carlson Children of the World Scholarship Fund is established to honor the legacy of Holly Carlson. Mrs. Carlson is passionate about educating all children. She has impacted the lives of thousands of families, teachers, and students throughout her tenure at LCCDS. Please join us in continuing her vision and purpose.

LCCDS has partnered with Children of the World Preschool since 2016. Children of the World Preschool, in conjunction with Learning Empowered, offers early learning programs to preschool age children in preparation for kindergarten. This scholarship provides deserving students with a kindergarten option and beyond at LCCDS.

The Holly Carlson Children of the World Scholarship Fund will give a student from the Children of the World Preschool, who would otherwise not be able to attend LCCDS, the opportunity to attend and benefit from the LCC Day School Experience. Scholarships are awarded to recipients who demonstrate academic ability, desire, and financial need.

Charitable giving at our independent school is of great importance as it provides critical support for our school to remain proactive and innovative. Through our various friend-raising and fundraising opportunities, LCCDS seeks to meet short-term needs and long-term goals that will position our students and staff for greater success and advance the school’s unique strengths. Each gift, no matter the size, makes a difference.

Her Legacy

Holly Carlson came to LCC Day School over 34 years ago. She grew LCC Day School from a small church preschool to a thriving preschool, elementary school, and middle school. She has impacted the lives of thousands of families and teachers throughout her tenure at LCC Day School.

Mrs. Carlson’s legacy will continue to live on at LCC Day School. Her passion for education, community, and Christian values will remain the cornerstone of LCC Day School. While her name will forever live on in the Carlson Family Life Center, her spirit will continue to inspire each member of the LCC community as we live out her mission for years to come.
