Please join LCCDS in kicking off a new service program, PAWS FOR A CAUSE. Paws For A Cause will support quarterly programs where our students have hands-on opportunities to serve our community. If you can’t participate in these particular projects, we will have more opportunities each quarter!
Quarter 1 Projects
First Responders' Collection
LCCDS will serve and honor our area first responders who made an incredible effort during Hurricane Idalia. In partnership with the Lutheran Church of the Cross, LCCDS will focus on the September 11th National Day of Service and Remembrance. This year along with cookies, students will collect other designated items for first responders and assemble packages.

- Preschool- Cookies (homemade or packaged)
- K and 1- Gum and mints
- 2, 3, and 4- Individually wrapped snacks (i.e.-granola bars, goldfish packs, jerky)
- 5, 6, and 7- Individual tissue packs, hand sanitizers, and wet wipes (all personal size)
- 8- Disposable cake pans w/lids (roughly 13x9)
Preschool cookies can be dropped off to the Preschool office by THIS FRIDAY, 9/8.
ES & MS items can be brought to classrooms by THIS THURSDAY, 9/7.
Recycled Bookfair
This year all profits raised from the Recycled Book Fair will be given to the Shore Acres Food and Donation Distribution. Tomorrow, 9/6 is the last day to drop off your gently used books in the Media Center on the Elementary campus.
Shop the Recycled Book Fair during the school day THIS THURSDAY, and FRIDAY (9/7-9/8).
